Founded in 1948 “La Valtellinese”, a Sondrio distillery, it is led by three generations of the Invitti family that currently distills almost 80% of the pomace produced in Valtellina, pomace of the Nebbiolo grape, also locally called Chiavennasca, from which a grappa is obtained single varietal characterized by the aromatic varietal treats of marasca, cherries and spirits.

Distillation takes place with cutting of the heads and tails in particular and exclusive stills; it proceeds very slowly to allow the volatile components, responsible for the aromas, a correct evaporation and consequent condensation keeping intact the precious organoleptic characteristics of the Nebbiolo grape.
