Scea Chateau Haut Pougnan : A Winery In The Heart of Entre-Deux-Mers

Must read

Scea Chateau Haut-Pougnan is located in the center of Entre-Deux-Mers, a wine area in Bordeaux, France, on the slopes of the right bank of the Garonne, on outstanding clay-limestone and gravelly soils. The plantation’s red wine vineyards are located in the east and south, while white wine grapes are located in the west.

The clay-limestone composition of the soils in the area allows the vineyard to produce extremely good wines with a precise bouquet.

The greatest way to enjoy white wines is to try them when they’re still fresh. They’re a fantastic addition to fish and seafood recipes. Rosé wines pair well with appetizers and cold cuts of meat. Over the first two years, these wines improve significantly. After three to five years, the red wine aged for one year in oak barrels blossoms. For eight to ten years, great vintages mature gracefully in the cellar.

Chateau Haut-Pougnan recently joined Singapore Awards 2021 and has received 2 Gold Medals for their white wines:
