Scea Chateau Haut-Pougnan is located in the center of Entre-Deux-Mers, a wine area in Bordeaux, France, on the slopes of the right bank of the Garonne, on outstanding clay-limestone and gravelly soils. The plantation’s red wine vineyards are located in the east and south, while white wine grapes are located in the west.
The clay-limestone composition of the soils in the area allows the vineyard to produce extremely good wines with a precise bouquet.
The greatest way to enjoy white wines is to try them when they’re still fresh. They’re a fantastic addition to fish and seafood recipes. Rosé wines pair well with appetizers and cold cuts of meat. Over the first two years, these wines improve significantly. After three to five years, the red wine aged for one year in oak barrels blossoms. For eight to ten years, great vintages mature gracefully in the cellar.

This wine is a classic Bordeaux blend of Merlot (50%), Cabernet Sauvignon (40%) and Cabernet Franc (10%), aged for 12 month in oak barrels. Merlot provides a nice fruity taste to the wines, while Cabernet Sauvignon brings structure and depth. Medium-bodied, very well-balanced with melted tannins and some vanilla notes on the finish. Classic Bordeaux definitely worth discovering!
Chateau Les Moutins 2020 AOC Bordeaux Rouge

Château Les Moutins has a beautiful pale gold colour with green tint. The nose reveals notes of white fruits. On the palate, this wine is round, fresh and well-balanced. An elegant, totally enjoyable white Bordeaux.
Château Les Moutinsis located in the commune of Langoiran, in the Entre-Deux-Mersarea. Geographically, the Entre-Deux-Mersis that vast area which on a map looks roughly triangular-shaped limited by the Dordogne to the north, by the Garonne to the south-west and by administrative boundary of the Gironde department to the south-east.
Vinificationmethods are traditional. The maceration is about 50% of the crop during three weeks. The wine is aged on the lees during two months.
Best to be served at 9°C. Château Les Moutinsis a lovely aperitif as well as perfect match for grilled fish, and shellfish.
