Award winning wine – Pazo Pegullal
Granxa Pegulla S.A. was built in the 18th century in Salceda Caselas (Galicia) and started producing its own premium quality wine in 2013. The vineyards is located in Rías Biaxas, one of the wettest wine regions in Spain, making it a perfect spot to grow high quality products.
Since the first harvest the wine Pazo Pegullal received numerous awards and just recently it was awarded by Singapore Newspaper with Gold medal. Sounds like the wines is, indeed, extremely delicious and rich in flavor.
Mr. Rosario Andrade Detrell, owner and CEO of Granxa Pegulla S.A. shares the product/company capabilities and his overseas expansion plans for the next few years.
Q: What is the most unique and qualitative part of your products, different from competitors?
A: We produce 100% Albariño wine and we do it in the most Eco-friendly way. Our wine Pazo Pegullal are Between 4 to 5 months on lees. It is limpid, shiny and very aromatic with notes of ripe fruits apricot, kiwis, kumquat and subtle floral notes, orange blossom, magnolia. Very harmonious in perfect maturation, without excesses and persistent.
Q: Do you already export to Singapore ? If yes, where ? If no, what type of importers & distributors are you looking for in Singapore ?
A: We don´t export to Singapore yet, but we want to open new markets around the world. Nowadays, we are presents in United Kingdom, Portugal, Costa Rica, Bahamas, Panama and Mexico. We are looking importers & distributors who are interested in a high class products.
Q: When did you start to export your brand worldwide, and what is your development plan for the next years ?
A: Since company started we knew that our products will be recognized and accepted in foreign countries due to its uniqueness and qualities. Next year, we have scheduled to participate in the most important trade fairs in Singapore, Hong Kong and China.
