Building on 49-year legacy ‘Villa Giada’

Must read

1970’s, was on top of their game as they produced outstanding wine. The wines which showed well young were opulent, lush, oaky and filled with soft, ripe fruit. And the best thing was, they were always fairly priced.

Villa Giada named after the owner’s parents initials and it was officially established by Mr. Giuseppe Faccio (Great Grandfather of the Owner) who deeply restructured and expanded the cellar.

Today, Mr. Andrea Faccio together with his family is the 5th-generation owned and managed wine producing company. They take pride in treating the environment and nature with respect. Their wines are certified by Valoritala (a private control body that is entrusted to execute the inspection of italian DOC/DOCG – specifically in all Italian region), it is a certification that recognizes the company’s commitment in taking care of nature and its balance.

Another great milestone that the company acquires is winning a Gold and Silver medal for its 2 wines (Dedicato – NIzza DOCG (Gold) & Canelli – Moscato d’Asti Canelli DOCG 2018 (Silver) ) awarded by Singapore Newspaper this year.

Mr. Andrea Faccio says that “Singapore’s wine lovers enjoy several wines that I produce. The gold medal winner Nizza 2016 and Silver medal winner Moscato are the best sellers. Villa Giada Moscato is unique  for the perfect balance of freshness and sweetness. Gently sparkling has a good and vibrant acidity, that make it different from most of the Moscato on the market, where sweetness is dominant.  I export 80% of my production to more than 15 countries for more than 30 years. For the next years my plan is to put more focus on Asian market, particularly on Chinese market where the request for high quality wines is growing a lot”.
