Marrenon : A winery located in the heart of the Regional Nature Park of Luberon, recognized as Natural Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO, focusing on innovation and respect of the environment.

Must read

Winegrowers between Rhône and Provence, Marrenon is a reference amongst the producers of the Luberon and Ventoux. It ensures the economic vitality of the region by developing premium wines, with a unique style and by magnifying the terroir. True to its roots, Marrenon is building an international brand by focusing on the respect of the environment and innovation.

The mythical mountains, Luberon to the south (1,125 m) and Ventoux to the North (1,912 m), forge the character of these appellations: maximum exposure to the sun, tempered by the altitude and the thermal amplitude thanks to the proximity of the Southern Alps, gentle slopes and limestone hillsides, rolling hills exposed to the benefits of the Mistral win. All these factors favor the outstanding expression of this mosaic of terroirs Marrenon benefits from.

The richness and the diversity of the soils, limestone screes, round pebbles, safres, are the ideal cradle for Syrah and Grenache, the two main grapes, and the white Vermentino, the pride of the House.

Marrenon is located in the heart of the Regional Nature Park of Luberon, a biosphere reserve recognized by UNESCO, Marrenon is first and foremost a combined story of men and terroir. Ardent defenders of their region and its sublime landscapes, shaped by vineyards, olive trees, cherry trees and lavender fields, in love with their Provençal villages, the Winegrowers of Marrenon are the guardians of an authentic land.

In a deep respect of the heritage and the environment, the winegrowers of Marrenon are involved in a demanding qualitative approach, certified by several quality labels. A process visible, both in the vineyards, where the winegrowers are permanently supported by a rigorous plot by plot approach, and during the vinification, orchestrated with the precision of a watchmaker by Philippe Tolleret.

The terroir, always the terroir!!!! It is the keystone of the Marrenon style: elegance and finesse.

Delicate, round, fresh and fruity, noble, elegant, powerful or “de garde” (to be kept and matured), Marrenon wines offer a wide range perfectly adapted to many different drinking moments.

The Marrenon brand is a range reserved for the traditional distribution channel (wine shops, restaurants). It loudly and clearly claims the moto “Pleasure by Nature”: with exceptional bottles such as the Petula rosé, the Orca and Capella (Ventoux) cuvees, the Grand Marrenon (Luberon, white and red), the Doria and Sepia, or the iconic Gardarem. Not to mention the Organic range, Amountanage and for the “bubbles”, the Cuvée M rosé.

This 2019, Marrenon has joined Singapore Newspaper Wines, Spirits and Beers Competition and won three gold medal and two silver medals.  Here are the list of wines:
