A wee, little known vineyard in Faugères in the heart of the Regional Natural Park of Haut-Languedoc has produces wines that epitomized the style and delicate flavor of cooler-appellation in the Languedoc.
Felgaria and Les Bancèls have been awarded a Gold medal by Singapore Newspaper. These two wines are from Domaine de Cébène winery where vineyards are bountiful with amazing terroirs, created by winemaker Brigitte Chevalier.
The wines speaks of its site, farmed and vinified to perfection. Brigitte Chevalier said that ” When I settled down in Faugères, I had to choose a specific vines on hillsides where strategic locations is the best, I had to consider a lot of things such as Les Bancèls faces north to make a uniquely southern wine, All the vines are 300 hundred meters high, Old vines- deeply roots in the schist soil, and mother rocks is immediately at the surface. So that the schist element are pure”.
Today, Domaine de Cébène is producing 4 types of wines, namely, FELGARIA, LES BANCÈLS, EX ARENA & BELLE LURETTE which also available in Singapore.

Felgaria is the result of a purist’s aesthetic search to showcase the few grapes from the winery’s Mourvèdre vines, blended with carefully selected varieties that bring out its best. Felgaria can be enjoyed when young but is also a wine with a great future (+10 years).
This racy, sexy wine will accompany festive occasions, and is ideally served with wild-fowl (pheasant), pigeon or beef.
