On the slopes of the right bank of the Garonne, on exceptional clay-limestone and gravelly soils, Scea Chateau Haut-Pougnan is located in the heart of Entre-Deux-Mers, a wine region in Bordeaux, France. The vines for red wine are in the east and south of the plantation, while the white wine grapes are in the west.
The area’s clay-limestone soils allow the vineyard to produce particularly good wines with a precise bouquet thanks to its clay-limestone composition.
The three Bordeaux grape varieties used in the red wines are Merlot (50 percent), Cabernet Sauvignon (40 percent), and Cabernet Franc (ten percent). White wine grapes such as Sauvignon (70 percent), Semillion (25 percent), and Muscadelle (5 percent) provide them with elegance and a renowned aroma. This red, robust, fruity wine has a very well-balanced tannicity. While adorned in a stunning attire, it continues to delight with its grace and balance in the mouth.
The delicacy and smell of the white wine are outstanding. This rosé wine has a light robe, a great nose, and a fruity, energetic, and powerful finish on the palate.
