Schenk-Siebert is a family owned winery in the palatinate region of Germany. The company are working with 40 hectares of vineyards. Schenk-Siebert main varieties are Riesling, Chardonnay, Prinot Gris and Pinot Blanc. The main reds are Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Pinot Meunier. The range are splitted in Gutsweine, Ortsweine und Lagenweine.
The grapes of the ´Lagenweine´ or single vineyards are picked by hand and sorted. They are working very precise and delicate to get the best aromas of the wines. It is one of the most important factor that they consider in the vineyard and characteristic of the terroir soils are reflected also in the wine.
It is of great importance to them that they are also characteristic that the terroir of our soils is reflected in the wine.
In 2019, we won the fourth place of the competition ´Deutscher Rotweinpreis´ with the Sausenheimer Honigsack Pinot Meunier ´vom Kalkmergel´. This is a really big step for us and a confirmation in our doing. We also got an honor from a German magazine that we are one of the best wineries here in Germany.
Our Philosophy is to work collectively, sustainable and going always one step further in the future.

Interview of Mr. Johannes Siebert : Junior winemaker
1: Do you already export to Singapore ? If yes, where ? If no, what type of importers & distributors are you looking for in Singapore ?
Answer : We don’t have an export relation to Singapore yet. We only have a huge export business to China amongst other things. This is a real positive point, because we have a lot of experience in the export business. We are looking for importers, who are able to position our German wine in the given market. The quality of our wines should be focused on. That’s important for us.
2: What is the most unique and qualitative part of your products, different from competitors ?
Answer : The most qualitative and popular wines are the two reds. Grünstadter Röth Spätburgunder trocken and Neuleininger Feuermännchen Spätburgunder trocken. We also have really good Rieslings like Sausenheimer Honigsack Riesling ´limestone´ or Sausenheimer Hütt Riesling ´old vines´. The Chardonnay Neuleininger Feuermännchen is also very popular in our export business. The positive thing against from other competitors is that we as a family owned winery are able to deliver our top products in a huge range with a large amount of bottles available.
3: When did you start to export your brand worldwide, and what is your development plan for the next years ?
Answer : We do have export relations over years. We started selling our wine in Asia 10 years ago. The Scandinavian and US market was opened up a bit later. We are looking forward to find an export partner for the Singaporean market. We are excited about the country and the culture of Singapore and would love to sell our Schenk-Siebert wine in the country.
