Champagne Philizot et Fils was born into 4 generations of winemakers. In 2002, Stephanie Philizot along with his wife Virginie created their negociant manipulant compagny. The objective is to select and blend the best quality grapes from the different regions of champagne.
Champagne Philizot et Fils grapes are selected from their partner winemakers with the following rigorous specifications. They cultivate and harvest the vineyard using sustainable viticulture, and carefully selecting the best quality grapes before pressing. Champagne Philizot et Fils champagnes is in honour of Eleonore Philizot, They are both farmers and winemakers. A woman who has shared the best of her gourmet cuisine, hospitality and “Joie De Vivre” throughout her life.
Champagne Philizot et Fils Gourmandise Eleonore Brut is a blend of chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. For Gourmandise Eleonore Brut they add 10% of Red Champagne. The colour of Champagne Philizot et Fils wines are brilliant and limpid, white gold flints of blond. Creamy and generous mousse, with fine and rapid bubbles. It is very intense in the nose, unveiling aromas of white flowers, baked apple, biscuit brioche and hazelnut, it evolves into the notes of nectarine and pear. It is very lively and structured on the palate with mineral finish.
Very Recently, Champagne Philizot et Fils has joined Singapore Newspaper Wines Spirits and Beers Competition and won a gold and silver medal in this competition:
