Domaine de Cazaban Languedoc Roussillon is an Appellation of Cabardès (represents the quality of the wines, which have been produced since Roman times)
The Domaine de Cazaban is located in the foothills of the “Montagne Noire” (Black
Mountains). The property consists of 22 hectares. The vines are planted on fine soils of schist, clay and limestone which affords the grapes an exceptional quality and diversity of style .
The Domaine has been certified organic since 2010 by Ecocert and then converted to Biodynamic, gaining Demeter certification in 2013. At Domaine de Cazaban harvest is 100% hand picked. With many years of international experience, their team is committed to develop export business and is looking for long lasting partnerships.
The winery like to produce elegant wines with an optimum balance of acidity, structure, alcohol. Very often their wines are called “the burgundy of Languedoc”. Indigenous yeasts as much as possible and fermentation at low temperatures for optimum aromatic structure. As little extraction as possible and very little SO2 content – usually between 10 and 30 mg/L (SO2 total).
Last year Domaine de Cazaban volume produces 75,000 bottles (average yield 28 hectoliters per hectare) and looking forward to increasing its volume production to 100,000 bottles within 2 to 3 years.
Domaine de Cazaban‘s signatures (Jours de Vigne Oc IGP, Demoiselle Claire Cabardès AOP, Les Petites Rangées Cabardès AOP, Domaine de Cazaban Cabardès AOP, Coup de Foudre Aude IGP, Hors Série N°1 Aude IGP) were recently awarded by Singapore Newspaper and added to its numerous milestone.
